Hello everyone,
I stumbled across this forum and wanted to make a post in the education section. Many people come to our school looking for help finding a job in the hospitality industry. We see a lot of people that come though having lost jobs or just trying to get into the job market. The hospitality industry here in Miami is still holding strong. With spring coming up and the Pro Bowl, Super Bowl it’s a great time to find employment. People are skeptical about bartending schools but every bartending school is not created equal. Do some research and ask questions. Make sure the school is state licensed and has a proven track record for placing jobs.
Bartending schools are a great way to get a jump into the industry without having a “hook-up” or prior history in the hospitality industry. We at Elite work hard securing jobs for those that place well and have developed the skills to compete in the bartending industry. If you have any questions in regards to bartending schools, feel free to ask. I’ll do my best to answer.

Have you tried freelancing?
I'm freelancing now and getting a good amount of work. The thing is it's very unreliable. I can't book a holiday as I don't know whether I'm going to have enough work in future to pay for it. On the other hand I do get more free time working this way. |
