I'm freelancing now and getting a good amount of work. The thing is it's very unreliable. I can't book a holiday as I don't know whether I'm going to have enough work in future to pay for it. On the other hand I do get more free time working this way.
I think it's a great time to freelance, as a lot of companies have frozen their head-counts for permanents, but still have new projects which need delivering. Freelancers are a great way of plugging the gap! What do others think?
